"COTTONWOOD FIELD STUDY, TALLGRASS PRAIRIE PRESERVE"
12"x16",
oil on canvas
$1,000
The best part of landscape painting is going to a special place and spending a couple of hours observing and recording what happens. Very few traces of the tallgrass that nurtured the continent remain. One of my favorite and least tortured spaces is the National Preserve near Cottonwood Falls, Kansas.
