MULVANE MOUNTAIN PLAINS ART FAIR When my mother, artist Marilyn Richter, first started showing at the Art Fair in the early 1960's I helped her work in the booth. Maybe some of you remember the lemon and peppermint stick combo we could get at the concession stand. I first showed here in 1979. Now my children help me in my art booth. That is my son, Ben, on the left, mimicking a sculpture on the Washburn campus. Spanning 44 years and three generations in the RICHTER family, this show will always hold a special place in our hearts. I cook up something just for Topeka to enjoy. Come by and say hello. |
